Celebrating the Beauty of Marriage –ASEAN seen through Wedding Traditions and Cultures

In the hope of solidifying the bond between ASEAN and Korea, a special opening exhibition with the theme of “Marriage/wedding” will be opened to the public. It will be the first such exhibition to present the complex culture of marriage together with exquisite traditional wedding dresses and accessories from both Korea and the 10 ASEAN member states.

ASEAN Ways of Life: its diversity and unity

This exhibition will be held with the aim of helping viewers understand the society and culture of the 10 ASEAN member countries. In the Virtual Reality (VR) Room, visitors can experience the wonders of ASEAN’s many UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites from the comfort of the ACH.

Asia Traditional Orchestra

To celebrate both the opening of the ACH and 50 years of ASEAN, in addition to the year of Korea-ASEAN cultural exchange, an orchestra consisting of artists from 10 countries will put on a special performance.

ACH-EIDF Korea - ASEAN Documentary Film Screening

A screening of documentary films from Korea and ASEAN with the theme of “Marriage, family and children” will be held at the ACH.
