ASEAN-ROK Flute Festival

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the ASEAN-Korea Dialogue and the year of 2017 ASEAN-ROK Cultural Exchange, musicians from the ten ASEAN member states and Korea will gather to present a variety of traditional wind music performances. On December 7th, five lectures about traditional ASEAN culture will be held which the general public, including students and foreign residents, are encouraged to attend. On the following day, a joint concert will be held to celebrate the cultural diversity of ASEAN countries. We hope that through this festival, both Koreans and foreign residents will experience the beauty of each country’s traditional music.

The ASEAN Culture House will host the “Encore FLY Film Festival” at the ACH Hall every Sunday from January 2018 to February 2018. The film festival will feature 32 feature and short films presented at the 1st FLY Film Festival, hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and the Busan Film Commission in October. All films were produced by graduates from the “ASEAN-ROK Film Leaders Incubator: FLY Project.” We hope you’ll enjoy the opportunity to see these films by ASEAN filmmakers!
