Korean War Veterans from ASEAN - 2020 Busan UN Week, Pop-Up Exhibition Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Korean War

On the 70th anniversary of the Korean War’s outbreak, the ACH presents an exhibition in honor of United Nations Day and Busan UN Week to commemorate the contributions of UN troops that fought in the Korean War, with a focus on those of ASEAN countries. The exhibition will show photographs of Thai and Filipino soldiers who voluntarily fought in a country with a vastly different climate, language, and culture from their own to protect freedom and world peace. Visitors will also be able to see how over the past few decades, Korea has strived to repay the sacrifices made by ASEAN troops.
