ACH Cooking Class for Families and Friends “ASEAN Kitchen”

 

From November 23 to December 2, a total of four cooking classes for families and friends were held at the Cultural Experience Room of the ASEAN Culture House. Under the title “ASEAN Kitchen”, the classes provided participants with an opportunity to learn about the different characteristics of ASEAN countries’ cuisine. True to the theme “Enjoy ASEAN Culture with Noodles!” participants happily prepared Pad Thai, Thai stir-fried rice noodles. In the class “Sweet ASEAN Desserts with Daddies,” children and parents had time to understand ASEAN culture by concocting Singaporean Kaya Toast; roti, Thai pancakes; and lassi, a yogurt-based drink.
