2021 ASEAN Cinema Week – ON:TACT  

The 1st ASEAN Cinema Week was held as part of the 2019 ASEAN-Republic of Korea Commemorative Summit that showed the diversity of the cultures of the ASEAN region and Korea. In March, due to popular demand, the ACH will be hosting the 2nd ASEAN Cinema Week (On:tact) to show how ASEAN films have consistently developed over the years and offer new perspectives on the ASEAN countries’ cultures through the medium of film. To allow viewers a wide range of experiences of ASEAN culture while the pandemic continues, this year’s ASEAN Cinema Week will include online and offline screenings (and related programs) from many different genres, including romance, comedy, action, and horror. There will also be several audience talks, not only with film directors but also with people from diverse professions, such as a travel writer, chef, reporter, b-boy, YouTuber, etc., all of whom are related to ASEAN. You will be able to enjoy the screenings and events at a movie theater or from the comfort of your own home.Everyone is welcome to join us for a truly “on:tact” journey through ASEAN cinema!
