ASEAN People, ASEAN Lives

In March, the exhibition “ASEAN People, ASEAN Lives,” first held in August 2017 in Hanoi, Vietnam, to celebrate ASEAN’s 50th anniversary, reopens at the ASEAN Culture House. 200 photographs by professional and amateur photographers from the ten ASEAN countries, will be on display to illustrate ASEAN’s cultural diversity.

ASEAN CHINGU - Global Friends of the ASEAN Culture House

The ASEAN Culture House (ACH) offers a new program, called “ASEAN CHINGU”, for ASEAN students and residents as well as other foreign residents in Korea who are interested to learn more about ASEAN countries and participate in the ACH programs. The ACH welcomes their active participation in its cultural, academic, and educational programs, and collects their diverse opinions to support the promotion of the ACH projects.

 

·Target audience: ASEAN students, ASEAN and other foreign residents in Korea (incl. naturalized citizens who were born abroad)

KF-ACH-BFIC Pyeongchang Workshop for Expatriates in Korea 2018

On March 10 and 11, the ASEAN Culture House will hold the “KF-ACH-BFIC Pyeongchang Workshop for Expatriates in Korea 2018” in cooperation with the KF Global Center, the Busan Foundation for International Cooperation(BFIC), and universities in Busan. 140 foreign residents in Korea including ASEAN residents will watch an ice hockey match, attend lectures on public diplomacy, visit cultural sites, and have an opportunity to network and get to know each other.

 

·Date: 2018.3.10.- 3.11.

·Application period: Late February to early March

·Target audience: foreign residents in Korea (Seoul : 60 participants, Busan: 80 participants)
