Easy Access Malaysia
In July, the ASEAN Culture House will host the “Easy Access Malaysia” program. It is the fifth instalment of the “Easy Access ASEAN” series, which runs from March through December 2018 to enhance the understanding of ASEAN countries’ culture, history and society. The latest instalment puts a spotlight on Malaysia and includes lectures on Malaysian culture and society, held during the evenings of the second and fourth Thursday of July as part of the ACH Lecture Series “Useful and Mysterious ASEAN.” On the two Saturdays of those weeks, classes will be offered to learn preparing a popular Malaysian dessert and how to create Malaysian batik, a traditional textile dyeing art. Finally, on the two Sundays, the ACH will screen Malaysian movies that demonstrate the colorful cultures of the country. As summer is already upon us, why not visit the ASEAN Culture House for a unique experience of Malaysian culture? We look forward to welcoming you!
