ACH Winter Vacation Special Program: 4-week 4-part ASEAN Culture Camp

 
From January 26–February 16, the ASEAN Culture House held a four-week four-part “ASEAN Culture Camp” for elementary and middle school students on winter vacation. First came an ‘architecture camp,’ where participants recreated famous pieces of ASEAN architecture with their family using KAPLA blocks.In the following ‘science camp,’ participants vied for ASEAN football supremacy through a game of drone soccer, combining the world’s favorite sport with the latest in drone technology.
 
Third came an ‘economic camp,’ which allowed the students to learn about the exchange rates and economies of ASEAN through a group mission, while experiencing the ASEAN market in a more friendly and accessible manner. In the final ‘art camp,’ the students were able to use VR devices to paint with tilt brushes and create a work titled “My Own Future ASEAN Virtual World.” We hope that the program was a valuable experience for all the participants to understand ASEAN’s famed “unity in diversity” together with their family and friends.
