Tashi is a film by Singapore-based director Shilpa KrishnanShukla. It is a film that explores the complex world of humanrelationships, including those with our parents, children, siblings,and strangers. Shot over an eight-day period with just fiveactors, five crew, and a shoestring budget of $25,000, the filmhas earned outsize plaudits belying its modest means. KrishnanShukla has been invited to 13 film festivals to showcase herwork, including the 2019 British Asian Film Festival and the DhakaFilm Festival, with the film winning numerous awards including theGolden Reel Award at the Nevada International Film Festival.
