From June 1 to July 21, over 1,000 visitors attended the ‘ASEAN-Korea Animation & Kids Film Screening’ in cooperation with the Seoul International Cartoon and Animation Festival (SICAF) and the Busan International Kids and Youth Film Festival (BIKY).
A total of 16 films were screened over a course of eight days, including ‘Battle of Surabaya (Indonesia).’ the full-length Grand Prize winner of the 20th SICAF, and other short-and full-length animated and children’s films produced in ASEAN and Korea. Special wrap-around programs supplemented the screenings, including Conversations with Directors and a One-Day Animation Class. The ACH hopes the event served as an opportunity to bring participants one step closer to the cultures of ASEAN.
