The ASEAN Culture House hosted the ‘2019 ASEAN Youth Leader Program’ from August 3 (Saturday) to 11 (Sunday) as part of a line-up of events commemorating the ASEAN-ROK Summit. During their 9ㅡday, 8ㅡnight itinerary, Korean students both with and without ASEAN heritage gained valuable experiences that will aid them in growing into next generation leaders. Through the ‘ASEAN Youth Leader Program,’ the 30 students were able to engage in cultural exchange and broaden their horizons both in Korea and Viet Nam. After their travels, they channeled their new knowledge and perspective into art in collaboration with artists from the fields of sculpture, video, and painting. The works they produced under the theme of “Family ㅡ You and I Together” will be on display to greet visitors to the ASEAN Culture House throughout the month of October.
