‘ASEAN Cinema Week 2019 ─ ASEAN Cinema NOW!’ celebrates 2019 ASEAN-Republic of KOREA Commemorative Summit and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of dialogue relations. This film festival will be held in major cities in South Korea including Seoul, Busan, Jeju, and Gwangju. One film from each ASEAN member country has been selected for the festival for its popular appeal and cinematic qualities. These well-made films are being screened to showcase the current dynamic growth of the ASEAN film industry. Special guest visit (GV) sessions will also be held for films that have gained huge commercial success in the 10 ASEAN countries. After these movies have screened, audiences will be able to meet and talk with famous directors and actors from these films.
