The show “Magical ASEAN: Cambodian Circus & Thai Mime” was featured on Thursday, May 9 at 7:30 pm at the ACH Hall of ASEAN Culture House.
In light of May being “family month” in Korea, approximately 180 spectators (most of whom were with their families) filled the audience. The show received endless rounds of applause from and gave joy to the audience for the entire hour-long performance featuring Phare, the Cambodian Circus, a circus troupe from a circus and performing arts school that was established in 1994 to heal refugees and youths, and Babymime, a young Thai mime trio.
We hope that this show provided viewers with an opportunity to enjoy the stellar performances of two groups that also participated in the Ansan Street Arts Festival 2019 as well as to see a new side of ASEAN.
