Thai Ambassador Visits KF ASEAN Culture House

On October 6th, the ASEAN Culture House visited the Royal Thai Embassy to hold a meeting with the Thai Ambassador to Korea Witchu Vejjajiva, as well as the Minister Counsellor and the First Secretary. The meeting was in response to the ambassador’s visit to the ASEAN Culture House following his appointment to South Korea in April this year. The secretaries at the embassy have been actively exchanging opinions and sending support and encouragement regarding various potential collaborations with the ASEAN Culture House. The embassy also provided ideas and feedback for the Digital Culture Experience Zone, an upcoming immersive exhibition set to open at the end of this year.

Additionally, the ambassador presented us with a handicraft replica of the Thai Royal Barge. In Thailand, a procession of these royal ships parades on the river during important events. It is an amazing and rare spectacle, and its significance is celebrated at the National Museum of Royal Barges. The ASEAN Culture House is planning to offer an opportunity for visitors to view the donated barge crafts at events and exhibitions. Please keep an eye on our newsletter for more information!
