On December 7-8, the “ASEAN-Korea Flute Festival” was held at the ACH Hall at the ASEAN Culture House. It featured 50 wind musicians from 7 ASEAN countries (Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam) played traditional musical instruments and introduced the origins and characteristics of those instruments. On December 8, about 180 people attended a joint performance by musicians from Korea and the abovementioned 10 ASEAN countries. The festival represented a great opportunity to enjoy a variety of ASEAN wind instrument performances.
