On March 16, the ASEAN Culture House (ACH) held the opening ceremony of the “ASEAN People, ASEAN Lives” exhibition at the Special Exhibition Gallery on the first floor of the ACH. The exhibition is a newly organized presentation of an exhibition held in Hanoi last year to mark the 50th anniversary of the foundation of ASEAN. It displays 200 works by 119 photographers from the ten ASEAN member countries, illustrating diverse aspects of ASEAN countries’ cultures and societies. The opening ceremony was attended by the official guests and members of the general public. Among the guests were Mr. Ma The Anh, the deputy director-general and the experts of the Agency for Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition, which is affilicated to the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The ACH hopes that the exhibition will be a great opportunity for viewers to gain a deeper understanding of the diverse and dynamic ASEAN community’s ways of life.
