Amid record-breaking August temperatures, the ASEAN Culture House successfully launched the ASEAN Cooking Club, a Korean cuisine cooking class, in cooperation with the Donggu Multicultural Family Support Center in Busan. Despite the hot weather, ASEAN-native women of multicultural households in Korea actively participated in the club every Thursday as they learned about Korean cuisine. The club is anticipated to have provided the means for participating households to acquire a greater understanding of the mutual food culture between Korea and ASEAN.
