The ACH-BUFS ASEAN practical language course, I Can Speak ASEAN, opened on November 7. This year’s course curricula, co-operated by the ASEAN Culture House and the Busan University of Foreign Studies, are comprised of entrance level courses, two for Vietnamese and one for Khmer, the official language of Cambodia. On the opening day of class, as many as 60 students were in attendance, each varying in motivations and goals, yet the collective passion of the group lit up the classroom. The ASEAN Culture House looks forward to seeing the students grow in confidence and proficiency over the eight-session courses, offered through December 26.
